The Malécon is Havana's oceanfront promenade. Although there is a restoration project underway, it is still dominated by crumbling façades and today is just a pale reminder of splendid times past.

The neumŕticos are fishermen using inner tubes of trucks for flotation. This hand-made vessel is a dangerous way to fish.
